Meet Blair Patterson

Meet Blair Patterson, our newest addition to the Clinton Wilkins Mortgage Team! Blair joins us as an associate mortgage broker. He previously worked in PEI as a mortgage agent, and his two big goals are to help first-time home buyers enter the market, and to provide clients with the information they need to make the best choices. We’re happy to welcome him to the Halifax market and the team!

“For me, it [entering the mortgage industry] is twofold,” Blair says. “Firstly, to help first-time home buyers enter the market – people who may not realize they can buy a home and have become discouraged by the news headlines. Second, I believe everyone should have access to the right information to make the best choice possible. The best choice isn’t always the lowest rate, and there are many factors that go into the decision process.”

Blair’s position

In his role, Blair will meet with clients and evaluate their needs, liaise with underwriting partners, collect documents, and work with realtor partners. He believes a good mortgage professional should ensure clients aren’t losing sleep worrying about their mortgage.

Blair is looking forward to guiding clients through the buying process from start to finish. He finds closing day to always be an exciting event, and he is grateful to play a role in making others’ homeownership dreams come true.

“It’s truly incredible how much has been achieved by the brokerage in such a short amount of time,” Blair says. “Also, Kathryn, our client experience advisor, is my old piano teacher, so I can’t wait to talk about music on coffee breaks!”
