I started my career as a mortgage broker in 2006. My goal was to be able to provide a better experience for consumers and to help support the growing economy in Atlantic Canada. I am originally from the Annapolis Valley, and want to carry the same sense of community and caring with our clients.
Over the next decade, my focus turned to grow the broker community in Halifax and Dartmouth and to focus on improving financial literacy and education. I believe that unbiased mortgage professionals can offer better solutions than the bank branches and help consumers improve their entire financial outlook, not just their mortgage. Clinton Wilkins Mortgage Team stands for that community commitment and is recognized nationally for our end-to-end experience.
Our brokerage is one of the top-performing teams across Canada. In addition, I was awarded Broker of the Year (Under 25 employees) at the Canadian Mortgage Awards in 2018 and 2019.
When I am not in the office working on mortgages, I am a regular on CTV Morning Live and co-host Mortgage 101 on News 95.7 radio. I also sit on the Board of Directors for the Nova Scotia Real Estate Commission.
