Mortgage insurance doesn’t just protect your home, it actually protects the people that you love. Your mortgage is the single largest transaction that you will do in your lifetime. It is also the single largest liability that you will have in your lifetime. And when you have a liability, you have to have a way to protect yourself.
Loss of life is the biggest reason that people have mortgage insurance. It ensures that your family is protected and that they don’t lose their home. Sickness and injury are the two biggest reasons why people miss their mortgage payments. Having disability insurance in place before something like that happens ensures that you are able to get through that life event. Even if you’re young and healthy, you should consider having life and disability insurance on your mortgage. If you have any questions give us a call.
