Clinton Wilkins takes on new leadership role with Mortgage Professionals Canada

It’s an exciting new chapter for Clinton Wilkins and one that will give Atlantic Canada a stronger voice in Canada’s mortgage industry.

Clinton has been named Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of Mortgage Professionals Canada (MPC). He will serve in the role before becoming Chair of the Board for the 2027-2028 term.

Clinton entered the mortgage industry in 2006 and has built his career around helping Canadians better understand mortgages, credit and homeownership.

It’s a significant milestone for Clinton, who has spent nearly two decades working in the mortgage industry and advocating for homeowners and homebuyers.

“I am pleased to be able to represent mortgage brokers, the industry and bring a perspective from Atlantic Canada to the executive.”  said Wilkins “I think this will be a busy year for Mortgage Professionals Canada with a new CEO to be hired.  Having a strong voice will help benefit the industry members.”

Clinton has been involved with MPC for several years and most recently served as Secretary on its Board of Directors.  Mortgage Professionals Canada is the national association representing Canada’s mortgage industry, with more than 15,000 mortgage professionals and 1,000 member companies across the country.

For Clinton, the new role is an opportunity to be part of those conversations while bringing an Atlantic Canadian perspective to the national table.

We’re excited to see Clinton take this next step and to have a Atlantic Canada based mortgage professional helping shape conversations about the future of the industry across Canada.
