Nominations and awards season
What an exciting awards season! Here at the Clinton Wilkins Mortgage Team, we are making waves in the mortgage industry, all thanks to the support and dedication of our team and our clients. My goals and focus for 2017 were simple: 1. Grow a team of excellent mortgage agents. 2. Fundraise and assist our local community 3. Develop a large social media presence to build consumer awareness. My biggest challenge but most rewarding in terms of self-growth was the release of my novel: “Confessions of a Halifax Mortgage Broker.” With creating such a stir, our team is very humble to be nominated or given the following awards for 2017.
On March 8, 2018, our team was presented with two prestigious awards: Through our national mortgage brand, the Care Award, as well as recognized for funding the second highest amount of mortgages as an individual mortgage professional across Canada for the CENTUM network.
Care Award
This award touches my heart and our community. CENTUM has recognized our team above others for our fundraising and humanitarianism. We achieved this, especially by showing our support to CENTUM lemonade week. All funds and proceeds that we have raised went towards Easter Seals Tech 4 Kids. This program assists children with disabilities obtaining the proper equipment and technology they need to have a happier life. As a result, we had raised over $2,000 from our lemonade stand alone!
#2 in CENTUM for Funded Mortgage Units
We have run the numbers and we have come back with over 230 funded mortgages for all of 2017, this being the second highest in a group of 1800+ mortgage professionals across all of Canada! This is such an honor to be able to be able to assist so many families and individuals in my community achieve their homeownership goals.
Nomination from Canadian Mortgage Awards for Mortgage Broker of the Year (25 employees or fewer).
It is such an honour to receive a nomination in this category! The finalists are comprised of all mortgage brokers across Canada and it is an honour to be nominated. We have focused on our team’s growth and what our community needs and of course, what makes financial sense for our clients. For more information, check out this news article on Mortgage Broker News.
2017 has been one of our most successful years with an increase of 33 per cent in business, and 50 million in funded mortgage volume! We are driven to be the best and are always looking for new ways to improve and grow! $100 Million, we’re coming for you!
