A Look Back at our conversations with Todd

Over the past eight years, we’ve had the opportunity to join Todd for many thoughtful conversations. As we reflect on that time, we wanted to revisit a few past segments and articles that highlight the discussions, insights, and moments we were proud to share with him.

July 2025 – Mortgages Without Judgment

In this Mortgage 101 segment, Todd helped lead a conversation that touched on saving for homeownership, mortgage affordability, and the importance of creating a welcoming experience for every client. As always, he brought a natural curiosity to the discussion, helping draw out practical advice while keeping the conversation engaging and easy to follow. It was a good example of the way Todd helped turn complex mortgage topics into approachable, listener-friendly conversations over the years.

December 2024 – A Busy Year for the Market

This segment reflected Todd’s ability to keep fast-moving market conversations clear and accessible. Centered on interest rates, housing demand, and what a changing market could mean for buyers, the discussion moved naturally from big-picture trends to practical takeaways for listeners. Todd had a real talent for asking the kinds of questions people were already thinking about, which helped turn a timely market update into a conversation that felt relevant, grounded, and easy to follow.

December 2023 – Informed Mortgage Decisions

This segment covered a wide range of listener questions, from rate holds and credit scores to down payment assistance and title insurance, and Todd helped keep the conversation moving in a way that felt both natural and easy to follow. He had a knack for bridging detailed mortgage information with the kinds of practical concerns listeners were actually bringing forward, which made discussions like this feel especially useful and relatable. It was a strong example of how he helped turn a broad mix of financial topics into one clear, engaging conversation.

November 2022 – Diving into your credit mix

This conversation highlighted Todd’s ability to take a topic that can feel intimidating and make it easier to absorb. As the discussion moved through credit scores, missed payments, reporting agencies, and ways to rebuild after setbacks, he kept the tone grounded and human, helping frame the information in a way that would resonate with everyday listeners. It was the kind of segment that showed how well Todd could guide practical conversations without losing the warmth and relatability that made his on-air presence so trusted.

November 2021 – Real Estate Lawyers perspective

This conversation brought in a valuable new perspective, with Todd helping guide a discussion that went beyond mortgages alone and into the legal side of buying a home. With real estate lawyer Danielle MacLean joining the segment, the conversation explored the importance of being prepared, taking the process seriously, and understanding the risks that can come with rushed offers, waived conditions, and tight timelines in a competitive market. Todd helped keep the discussion focused and accessible, making room for detailed professional insight while still keeping it grounded in the realities buyers were facing at the time.

January 2020 – Variable or Fixed?

This segment showed Todd’s ability to take a classic mortgage question and make it feel timely and easy to understand. Framed around a caller asking whether to choose a variable or fixed rate at renewal, the conversation explored market conditions, lender penalties, and the importance of thinking beyond the headline rate alone. Todd helped keep the exchange moving in a way that felt natural and listener-focused, turning a common point of uncertainty into a clear and useful discussion for homeowners.

March 2019 – Should I go to a broker for my mortgage renewal?

This segment captured Todd’s ability to keep a conversation both practical and personable. What began as a caller’s question about mortgage renewal turned into a straightforward discussion about the value of working with a broker, the potential savings involved, and why it can pay to look beyond your current bank. Todd brought a conversational energy to the exchange that helped make the topic feel clear, relevant, and easy for listeners to connect with.

November 2018 – Talking about Financial Literacy Month

In this segment, Todd guided a very practical conversation about mortgage renewals and why borrowers should not assume their lender’s first offer is their best one. With a caller raising a real-world frustration, Todd kept the discussion grounded and relatable, helping turn an everyday banking question into a useful conversation for listeners weighing their options at renewal time.
